Option #1
- Getting your prescription mailed to you is simple with FastStart®. Call FastStart toll-free at (800) 875-0867 (TDD assistance, please call (800) 231-4403). Let the representative know you wish to fill your prescription through mail service. Provide the information on your prescription drug ID card, the names of the maintenance medications you take, your doctor's name and phone number, and your mailing address.
Option #2
- Ask your doctor to write you a prescription for up to a 90-day supply, with up to three refills (if appropriate).
- Complete a Caremark Mail Service Order Form and mail it in with your prescription and payment. Forms can be found at www.caremark.com/ers or by calling Customer Care toll-free at (888) 886-8490.
If you need to take your maintenance medication right away, ask your doctor for two prescriptions - the first for a 30-day supply to fill immediately at a retail pharmacy and the second for up to a 90-day supply, with refills as appropriate, to send to Caremark Mail Service Pharmacy.

Pharmacists on Staff
Registered pharmacists staff mail service pharmacies. These pharmacists check every prescription to make sure it’s filled properly and review your prescription history to identify any possible problems with new medicines you have been prescribed. You receive the same type of information about your medicine that you would receive from a retail pharmacy. You can also learn more about your medicines at www.caremark.com/ers.
How to Order
You can order your prescriptions through the mail service pharmacies by mail, phone, or Internet.
Convenient Home Delivery
You can expect your medicine to arrive approximately 14 calendar days after Caremark receives your prescription.
* Copayment means the amount which a participant is required to pay for a prescription in accordance with a Plan, which may be a deductible, a percentage of the prescription price, a fixed amount or other charge, with the balance, if any, being paid by a Plan.
