Ethex® Corporation, the manufacturer of metoprolol succinate extended-release (ER) tablets (25 mg, 50 mg, 100 mg and 200 mg), advised the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) that the company voluntarily suspended all shipments of metoprolol succinate ER tablets.
Our records show you may have obtained a prescription recently for one of these affected products from your participating retail and/or mail service pharmacy.
Please do not stop taking your medication without first contacting your doctor to discuss a possible alternative. Depending on the alternative prescribed, your copayment* could increase.
